Comments: "Set the Sun" went very well. Everyone loved it. The pastor of the church (who has excellent taste in music) told me that it was her new favorite anthem! I love playing the piano parts that you write. They are challenging to learn and fun to play! We're doing "When the Spirit" on Pentecost.

Comments: Nassau Presbyterian Church had the honor of working closely with the composer on this work. We first used the refrain (only) during Advent at the lighting of the candles each week. This introduced the contagious melody to the congregation, led by the children's choirs. Then, on Epiphany Sunday, the full anthem was offered, with the congregation joining on the refrain. Four years later, we are using the anthem again on Epiphany Sunday. When the now 7-9 year old choristers began to learn it, it was clear that many remembered the tune from their younger years. And the adult choir is equally enchanted with the strong text, exuberant melody and the thoughtful craftsmanship ALWAYS evident in a P. Orr anthem. highly recommended
